  I have been here a few times, nice place for brunch and lunch! Good food and coffee. Since the main dining area was full, we were seated over undesirable corner.

  There are range of choices for both breakfast and lunch at the General Store. The service is always excellent and the meals always top quality, fresh and tasty. The all day breakfasts are great also.
  
  Most recently I had the steak sandwich, which was a real treat, perfectly cooked tender steak, balanced by tangy mustard, chipotle bbq sauce and salad on lightly toasted (I’m guessing sourdough) bread.
  
  If you on the Hume Highway it’s well worth the diversion into Exeter. A real gem!

  The best breakfast. Exeter eggs were full of flavour, local bacon and the pancakes out of this world! Warm & cozy atmosphere on a drizzly autumn day ♡

  I didn't go in there.
  Usually need to get a loan to be able to afford to eat/drink anything from Exeter.
  Shame, as it is a beautiful town to spend time photographing.

  This place is fantastic - so quaint and they serve great coffee and delicious food. They added a lovely courtyard too - a great place to sit and watch the world go by. The striped umbrellas are so cute. The staff are always courteous and the menu is always offering something quirky - like whisky porridge (which was deeelicious!)

  The best porridge I have had in a long time! I ordered takeaway via the online app and the food was prepared in a timely way. Worth a visit if you are in the highlands.

  Nice outdoor terrace and can order from yiur table. Great food and lots of 2nd hand books inside to browse and read over your coffee.

  A very cute cafe across the road from the train station in a charming old building. Good hearty modern cafe food. Solid coffee options, extensive food menu and lots of boutique groceries from around the area. We loved our shakshuka breakfast, it was very tasty.
